Senior Manager / Director- ESG & Climate- Mumbai/Bangalore Full Time

• Analyze ESG-related activities and design strategic initiatives that support responsible business practices and long-term sustainable growth.
• Develop and implement ESG strategies aligned with evolving business models to address current priorities and future opportunities.
• Conduct climate risk assessments covering both physical and transition risks, including scenario analysis, stress testing, PD, LGD, and ICAAP.
• Build sustainability and ESG programs along with related reporting processes.
• Carry out materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and KPI identification in line with reporting frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, IIRC, SASB, and others.
• Prepare internal and external sustainability and ESG reports.
• Perform sector-focused and market-oriented research on ESG topics for clients.
• Manage day-to-day project execution, maintain quality standards, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support market research and business development efforts to strengthen the company’s market presence and influence.

Key Competencies

• Strong understanding of sustainability standards and frameworks, including BRSR, GRI, GHG Protocol, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 and S2, UN SDGs, IIRC, ICMA, CDP, and DJSI.
• Hands-on experience in GHG accounting, ESG rating support such as CDP and DJSI, ESG risk assessments, and sustainability report drafting.
• Good knowledge of existing and emerging sustainability-related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with sustainability platforms such as Microsoft Sustainability Manager and Salesforce Net Zero Cloud would be an advantage.
• Strong experience handling RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new concepts and tools.
• A strong client-focused mindset.
• Ability to support innovation by contributing to new service offerings and assisting in proposal submissions for potential clients.

Mandatory Skill Sets
