What You’ll Do

Lead and support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices by ensuring team safety training is up to date, incidents are properly documented, workplace hazards are proactively addressed, and team members are encouraged to improve operations continuously.
Manage scheduling for both internal and external team members, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration across the Gigafactory.
Drive initiatives that improve recycling efficiency, reduce waste, and support Tesla’s broader environmental goals.
Build and maintain relationships with external vendors while negotiating commercial rates for scrap materials.
Provide clear direction to recycling team members, set daily targets, and motivate staff to meet productivity and quality expectations.
Track team performance, provide regular feedback, and take corrective action when needed to maintain operational standards.
Perform hands-on operational tasks, including accident reporting, completing safety training, and operating heavy equipment such as cardboard balers.

What You’ll Bring

2–3 years of experience in recycling, custodial services, grounds maintenance, or a related operational field.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail, flexibility, prioritization ability, and confidence in presenting to senior management.
Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to daily work.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining operational excellence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with a strong work ethic, follow-through mindset, and positive “can-do” attitude.
