Wastewater Technician Full Time

Key Responsibilities

As an InSite Technician, you will support a variety of environmental and waste management activities at customer facilities, including:

• Collecting and transporting waste materials from different areas within customer sites.
• Performing waste bulking, consolidation, and segregation activities in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing waste materials to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safe handling.
• Assisting with spill response and cleanup activities whenever required at customer locations.
• Operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts to support waste management operations.
• Inspecting drums and waste containers to verify structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinating the safe loading and unloading of waste transportation vehicles.
• Conducting waste sampling, characterization, and profiling to support proper treatment and disposal processes.
• Following all company safety procedures and environmental regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License is considered an asset.
• Ability and willingness to successfully complete a background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physically demanding tasks when required.
