Engineer – Water & Waste Water Full Time

Responsibilities

• Carry out hydraulic design for water distribution, transmission networks, long-distance pipelines, sewer, and wastewater systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pipeline sizing, and support preparation of hydraulic design reports.
• Design pump stations, develop system head curves, and conduct surge analysis for rising mains and pressure mains.
• Work on pressure zoning, control valves, storage tanks, route optimization, feasibility studies, option analysis, and material selection as per applicable American standards.
• Design combined and separate sewer systems, including runoff area calculations, flow estimation, wet-well sizing, and sewer rising mains.
• Support planning of water and wastewater infrastructure for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, peers, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor workflows, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety factors, standards, and specifications.
• Contribute to the company’s SHEQ requirements within the assigned scope of work.
• Train and coordinate with engineering and technical support staff.

• Ability to conduct technical analysis and prepare clear presentations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to technical quality and continuous improvement.
• Professional membership or qualification from UK/US institutes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering/Management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
