Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Identify and onboard projects for the Pune office as per the approved budget, selection criteria, and policies of PwC India Foundation.
• Coordinate with NGO partners, review project progress, improve project effectiveness, and share regular updates with stakeholders and the Central CR team.
• Complete periodic reviews of due diligence documents, grant agreements, and project reports.
• Create outcome assessment formats, prepare project visit reports, and update the Central CR team regularly.
• Support the Central CR team with research, planning, and expansion of activities within PwC India Foundation’s focus areas.
• Stay updated on emerging CSR and sustainability trends and best practices.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with internal teams, senior leadership, NGO partners, NFPs, and local communities to ensure successful CSR project execution.

Budget Management

• Prepare and manage the CSR budget allocated to the region.
• Monitor fund allocation and utilisation across initiatives while ensuring financial accountability.

Volunteer Engagement

• Drive employee participation in CR initiatives by designing volunteering programmes aligned with social objectives.
• Organise CR events for employees in the Bangalore office and support CR SPOCs across other South offices.
• Plan innovative CR initiatives aligned with PwC India Foundation’s strategic themes.
• Develop strategies to improve employee volunteering hours and encourage correct time booking under CR job codes.
• Organise quarterly employee visits to project sites through various CR activities.
• Manage volunteering events within the allocated budget and ensure periodic participation from regional leadership.
• Initiate and complete general, skilled, and pro bono volunteering projects across South region offices.
• Plan internal CR campaigns such as blood donation camps, energy optimisation drives, and collection drives for clothes, books, or newspapers.

Communication

• Manage internal and external communication for the region.
• Ensure volunteering activities are captured as stories for internal portals and external social media platforms with support from CR, communications, and social media teams.
• Prepare content for press releases during project inaugurations with support from Communications and PR teams.
• Ensure good-quality event photographs are captured and shared with the Central CR team.
• Promote CSR activities through reports, presentations, and PR initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s responsible corporate image.

Central Reporting Responsibilities

• Review quarterly, annual, management, and CA-certified project reports, along with OP approvals, to monitor outcomes, impact, challenges, and improvement areas.
• Review payment requests based on completion of objectives and coordinate with the operations team for fund release to grantees.
• Ensure timely project visits for observation, launch, and monitoring, along with qualitative report submission.
• Highlight and escalate delays, exceptions, or monitoring challenges to senior stakeholders.
• Track regional project and operational budget utilisation and ensure timely fund disbursement.
• Support onboarding, induction, and transition management for new team members.
• Coordinate with the central team for quarterly internal audit requests related to project and visit reports.

Global Responsibilities

• Review quarterly time data across regions to ensure accurate classification of hours.
• Review quarterly expense data across regions to ensure correct classification and budget utilisation.
• Support annual global CSR reporting submissions in July, subject to internal audit requirements.
• Participate in global communication meetings on behalf of PwC India Foundation.
• Review and monitor the visit report tracking process.

Experience Required

• 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education Qualification

• Master’s in Social Work, Bachelor’s in Social Work, BA, B.Com, MBA, PGDM, M.Com, BJMC, or Master’s in Literature.
