Responsibilities

Team hiring and development: Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a team of analysts responsible for data profiling within assigned content pillars and markets.
Performance management: Conduct performance reviews and ensure each team member works toward clearly defined team goals and expectations.

Capacity planning: Plan manpower capacity and scheduling to ensure SLAs and operational goals are met or exceeded.
Workflow management: Manage workflow queues to ensure data profiles are delivered on time and in line with production schedules.
Quality control: Enforce quality assurance processes and controls to ensure accuracy levels meet or exceed defined targets.

Methodology development: Collaborate with data teams across locations to develop and maintain methodology guides and procedure manuals for data collection.
Procedure compliance: Ensure staff follow established data collection and quality procedures consistently.
Performance improvement: Analyse performance metrics related to timeliness, efficiency, quality, and controls, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Technology and content improvement: Research, recommend, and implement technology or content enhancements that improve product quality and operational efficiency.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across Research, ICS, Product, Development, QBIT, and other functions to support planned product improvements and extensions.
Client query support: Respond to queries from internal and external clients in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Geology, or a related field; a postgraduate degree would be an advantage.
Relevant experience: 5–8 years of relevant work experience in a high-quality, deadline-driven environment, including at least 3 years of experience leading a small team.
ESG knowledge: Knowledge of corporate governance and/or ESG would be an advantage.
Decision-making ability: Good judgment in evaluating available information and understanding how data decisions affect final product outputs.
Cross-functional effectiveness: Ability to work effectively with teams across different functions.
People development: Strong interest and ability in developing, supporting, and growing team members.
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
