In 2025, two partial solar eclipses are scheduled: the first on March 29, which will be visible across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America. The second partial eclipse of 2025 is scheduled for September 21, visible from Australia and Antarctica.
Those hoping to see another annular eclipse—the “ring of fire” spectacle—must wait until February 17, 2026. This upcoming eclipse will once again allow viewers to see the sun as a blazing ring in the sky, though the exact route of visibility has yet to be established.
