On Sunday, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt jumped right into environmental activism, throwing his weight behind the Net Zero Sarojini Nagar 2040 campaign in Lucknow’s Sarojini Nagar assembly area. BJP MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh leads the initiative, which pushes for real sustainability, a stronger sense of ecology, and more people pitching in across the whole constituency. The event took over Bangla Bazaar and nearby neighborhoods, buzzing with an excited crowd, and some came for the environment, some just to catch a glimpse of Dutt.

The launch of the environmental campaign witnessed a huge turnout, with thousands of people, students, social organisations, and other stakeholders participating in the roadshow at Bangla Bazaar. The long procession witnessed a lively environment as people cheered for the Bollywood superstar and held placards supporting environmental causes.

Thousands of people were seen on the roads much before the commencement of the event, showering the actor with flower petals and clicking pictures on their mobile phones. The police were seen trying to control the huge turnout as fans lined up to get a glimpse of the actor, who was sitting in an open jeep.
