Principle Responsibilities
- Review waste paperwork and/or samples to ensure completeness, safety for treatment or disposal, and compliance with all applicable regulations and permits.
- Identify potential issues in waste streams and route them to the appropriate department for proper handling.
- Support customers in accurately completing waste profiles and ensure timely submission and processing.
- Review waste recertification documents to maintain ongoing regulatory and permit compliance.
- Coordinate with Materials Management or Total Waste Solutions teams to arrange third-party vendor shipments to approved Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs).
- Serve as a communication link between operations and sales teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
- Provide technical guidance and support related to waste management processes and compliance requirements.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned that fall within the scope and level of the role.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of RCRA regulations related to waste characterization and processing protocols.
- Understanding of DOT regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials.
- Familiarity with TSCA requirements and applicable state environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of third-party vendor treatment capabilities and appropriate routing of waste streams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Combination of relevant education and work experience (required).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related field (required).
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is $22.05 to $30.30 per hour, depending on location and applicable wage standards. Actual compensation may vary based on hiring jurisdiction.
