Specialist Manager – Sustainability – Hyderabad Full Time

Work You’ll Do

As a Specialist Manager – Project (Sustainability Team), you will be responsible for:

• Leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of environmental sustainability programs across multiple USI office locations.
• Managing the sustainability program budget, including identifying initiatives, overseeing funding allocation, and tracking overall spend.
• Identifying, evaluating, and partnering with nonprofit organizations while managing local NGO relationships across assigned regions.
• Reviewing project scopes, fund disbursements, invoices, receipts, and utilization certificates to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely execution.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, finance teams, and the US sustainability team to support reporting, communications, employee engagement, and end-to-end project delivery.

Location & Shift

• Location: Hyderabad
• Shift Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related sustainability-focused discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in sustainability program management and project execution.
• Proven experience managing multi-location sustainability initiatives.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, funding workflows, and expenditure tracking.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting sustainability data.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessments, and sustainable practices.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience developing sustainability reports, presentations, and communication materials.
• Prior experience engaging internal stakeholders, NGOs, and external partners on sustainability programs.
• Exposure to project change management, testing, and implementation processes.
• Experience collaborating with finance teams on budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting activities.
