Lead LDAR/Fugitive Emission Team Full Time

Core Responsibilities

• Methane and VOC monitoring: Lead methane and VOC monitoring programs using US EPA Method 21, OGI under NSPS, QOGI, and advanced emissions quantification tools.
• Measurement campaigns: Oversee site-level measurement campaigns aligned with OGMP 2.0 methodologies and client requirements.
• Technology selection: Evaluate and recommend suitable detection technologies such as OGI, Method 21, Hi-Flow Sampler, TDLAS, LiDAR, and drone-based systems in line with EPA, ISO 14064, and OGMP 2.0 guidance.
• Emissions quantification: Lead emissions quantification using approved methods and models, including EPA correlation equations, QOGI algorithms, Hi-Flow Sampler data for leak composition, and LiDAR plume analytics.
• Equipment validation: Verify calibration and performance of monitoring equipment according to EPA Method 21 and manufacturer requirements.
• Leak detection and analysis: Direct leak detection, tagging, classification, and root-cause analysis in accordance with FEM, LDAR, EPA LDAR, and FEM protocols.
• Reporting and inventories: Prepare and approve LDAR/FEM reports, emissions inventories, and OGMP 2.0 Level 4–5 reporting packages.
• QA/QC management: Ensure quality assurance and quality control of field data in line with OGMP 2.0 MRV requirements, ISO 14064-1, and internal quality procedures.
• Technical coaching: Provide guidance and training on LDAR, FEM, OGI/QOGI, drone-based methane measurement, and OGMP 2.0 methodologies.
• Client and regulatory support: Manage client communication, regulatory interpretation, and project delivery for methane emissions programs.
• Mitigation strategy support: Support the development of methane reduction strategies aligned with the EPA Methane Reduction Program, EU Methane Regulation, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Petroleum, or any Engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience: 8–10 years of experience in methane and VOC emissions monitoring, LDAR programs, FEM quantification, or environmental compliance within the oil and gas sector.
• Technical expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Method 21, OGI systems such as FLIR or Opgal, QOGI, drone-based methane detection systems, and OGMP 2.0 Level 1–5 requirements.
• Project leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and manage complex emissions monitoring projects.
• Regional mobility: Willingness to travel across operational areas, with offshore and onshore site presence required on a case-by-case basis to initiate or supervise LDAR, FEM, and OGMP 2.0 field activities.
