At Google, problems are considered truly solved only when they are solved for everyone. As a Technical Program Manager, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from planning to execution. You will work with stakeholders to define requirements, identify risks, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role requires the ability to explain analytical insights and recommendations to senior leaders while also discussing technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
Carbon market instruments, including those linked to clean energy, play an important role in Google’s operational and value chain decarbonization roadmap. In this position, you will manage a growing portfolio of carbon market instruments and lead analytics related to procurement across the portfolio. You will work with internal and external partners to collect data, convert it into actionable insights, and support the development of scalable infrastructure and new data capabilities.
You will also provide portfolio metrics, insights, and analysis to guide Google’s strategic decarbonization efforts. As the sustainability strategy evolves, you will identify emerging analytics gaps and work with partner teams to develop the tools, processes, and best practices needed to support future requirements.
The Global Sustainability team helps Google build a more sustainable future by driving strategy, solutions, and implementation. The team leads programs across carbon, circular economy, water, product integration, reporting, and employee engagement, while supporting Google’s sustainability leadership internally and externally.
