- Role Objective
- We are looking for high-performing professionals to join our Sustainability Consulting team.
- The role involves supporting clients in corporate GHG accounting, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and decarbonisation advisory across sectors such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, metals, cement, and infrastructure.
- You will work closely with CXOs, sustainability leaders, and plant teams to convert climate ambitions into practical and measurable emission reduction pathways.
- Key Responsibilities
- Corporate GHG Accounting and Climate Disclosures
- Lead end-to-end GHG inventories across Scope 1, 2, and 3 in line with GHG Protocol and SBTi requirements.
- Carry out data validation, boundary setting, and emissions modelling.
- Apply supplier-specific, hybrid, average, and spend-based methods for Scope 3 assessments.
- Use emission factor databases such as Ecoinvent, Exiobase, DEFRA, and similar sources.
- Support climate disclosures including CDP, BRSR, and sustainability reporting.
- Assist with assurance readiness and audit coordination.
- Decarbonisation Strategy and Net-Zero Roadmaps
- Support the setting of SBTi-aligned targets.
- Develop decarbonisation pathways in line with science-based targets.
- Conduct preliminary and detailed decarbonisation assessments across industrial facilities.
- Identify emissions reduction interventions and quantify savings potential.
- Evaluate renewable energy sourcing options such as captive power, open access, and rooftop systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies for electrification and fuel switching.
- Assess the financial viability of interventions using NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
- Develop Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACC).
- Life Cycle Assessment and Product Decarbonisation
- Conduct cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCAs aligned with ISO 14040/44.
- Perform Product Carbon Footprint assessments in accordance with ISO 14067.
- Identify hotspots across the value chain and recommend low-carbon material alternatives.
- Support product-level sustainability claims and customer-facing disclosures.
- Use LCA software such as SimaPro.
- Client and Project Management
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations and board-level communication materials.
- Lead client workshops and decarbonisation strategy discussions.
- Support proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.

- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in GHG accounting, LCA, energy audits, and decarbonisation advisory.
