Consultant, Air Quality Full Time

• Deliver high-quality air quality evaluations, regulatory reviews, and applicability assessments.
• Prepare accurate Title V, PSD, and NSR permit applications while coordinating with local regulatory agencies.
• Develop detailed emissions inventories, calculate emissions and impacts, and recommend effective compliance approaches.
• Support climate-related efforts such as greenhouse gas inventories and emissions reporting.
• Manage assignments efficiently to ensure deliverables are completed within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Show leadership in health and safety while promoting a strong culture of safe operations.
• Identify ways to improve processes, enhance client service, and create opportunities for additional work.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred but not required, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of consulting or industry experience in environmental permitting and compliance, with 3–5 years preferred.
• Experience with air quality construction permits and Title V permitting; familiarity with PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of air emissions and emissions reporting procedures.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and travel to client sites when needed.
