KBR is currently expanding its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a major, high-visibility offshore development project in Abu Dhabi. The company is looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager with strong expertise in leading large offshore EPC or PMC projects. This ADNOC PMC role will begin at the contractor’s office in Abu Dhabi and later transition to the offshore site on a rotation schedule of 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off.

The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all commissioning and start-up activities for a large EPC/PMC project. The role requires ensuring that all systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate should bring extensive offshore mega-project experience along with proven leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 20+ years of total professional experience
• At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector
• Prior experience working on offshore projects in an EPC or PMC environment is essential
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role on international oil and gas projects
• At least 5 years of offshore project experience, with modular or fabrication experience considered an added advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory
