GIS Manager Full Time

Introduction

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented GIS Specialist to support our growing GIS team. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing GIS strategies at the operational level, ensuring geospatial data quality and integration across major infrastructure design and execution projects. This position requires technical proficiency in ESRI tools, spatial data automation, geospatial-BIM integration, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams. This position is to be based at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Missions/Main Duties

As a GIS Specialist, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement systems and databases for geospatial data and maintain database, GIS software, and hardware.
• Align geospatial workflows with digital engineering and organizational objectives.
• Ensure accurate spatial data integration with engineering design deliverables across roads, utilities, structures, and landscape.
• Geospatial Analysis for Infrastructure Planning: Conduct complex geospatial analyses to support site selection, alignment optimization, and environmental impact assessment. Analyze topography, land use, environmental constraints, and hydrological data to guide sustainable
• Infrastructure Design Support: Provide technical GIS leadership to infrastructure design teams by integrating spatial analysis into the engineering workflow, enhancing design accuracy, and optimizing project layouts based on spatial intelligence.
• Data Visualization and Stakeholder Communication : Produce high-quality cartographic products, analytical maps, 3D visualizations, and interactive dashboards to clearly communicate design concepts, analysis results, and strategic recommendations to project management and external stakeholders.
• Explore innovative geospatial technologies to improve project delivery and data intelligence.
  Contribute documentation, deliverables tracking, and digital coordination platforms.

Profile/Skills

To excel in this GIS Specialist Job, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Engineering, Urban Planning, Cartography, or a related field or related GIS field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in GIS roles, preferably within engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Hands-on experience with GIS software as ESRI Suit (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, GeoBIM, ArcGIS Dashboards), QGIS and Global Mapper.
• Experience with FME for spatial ETL and Model Builder.
• Knowledge of Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD and GIS-BIM integration workflows.
• Familiarity with surveying, remote sensing, drone mapping, and LiDAR data processing.
• Ability to manage and analyze 2D/3D spatial data in complex design environments including spatial data manipulation, map creation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, quality control, and proper data management practices.
• Experience with geospatial data management and spatial database systems (e.g., PostGIS, SQL for GIS).
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities and Capability of participating in technical meetings and translating design requirements into GIS tasks.
• Experience on Web GIS & Mobile Applications such as ArcGIS Dashboards, Story Maps, Survey123 and Field Maps.
