In the heart of Oslo, a plea was made for citizens to work remotely from the safety of their homes, while non-essential travel was strongly discouraged.

In the village of Valdres, a series of landslides necessitated the dramatic rescue of residents via helicopter airlifts. Grim reports emerged from Bagn village, where a housing estate bore the brunt of a landslide, destroying a house and garage. Authorities remained on high alert, cautioning of potential subsequent incidents. Meanwhile, in Asak, an isolated community of around 1,000 residents, was cut off from the outside world due to severe flooding. The lone accessible route remaining was a forest pathway, now serving as the lifeline for delivering essential food supplies.
