TimberHP manufactures wood fibre insulation at a mill in Madison, Maine, offering a bio-based alternative to foam and mineral insulation for walls, floors, roofs and retrofit work.
Wood fibre insulation is made from residual softwood chips. It is vapour-open, so assemblies can dry rather than trap moisture, and it carries a far lower embodied carbon figure than foam — which matters most on retrofit projects, where the insulation is often the largest single material added to a building.
